南房総・館山の英語教育・国際交流センター「英会話クラブ サビーネ」
日頃の学習の成果を発表する場として、また、英語の文学や舞台芸術に親しみ、舞台で演じることの楽しさを体験する場として、毎年開催しております、こども英語発表会。第18回目の今年は、2月15日（日）に開催致します。現在子供たちはリハーサルの真っ最中。入場は無料ですのでどなたさまもどうぞお気軽におでかけください。

内容：全員による歌とダンス「HAPPY」、個人／グループの自主発表、全員での英語ミュージカル「真夏の夜の夢」

早速今年のサビーネギャザリングを開催します。
アメリカの大学を卒業後、サビーネ初期の英語講師を務めてくれた丸山未来子さんが、現在在住のオーストラリアより一時帰国。ギャザリングで現在の様子を語ってくれます。

Originally from Tateyama, Mikiko moved to Australia after graduating from a university in the US. Now she works as a Japanese language teacher in Sydney while she raises one daughter. 館山市出身。安房高卒業後アメリカの大学へ進学。その後オーストラリアに移住。現在はシドニーで日本人学校教師を勤める。一児の母。

「私は今 世界のてっぺんにいるの」
新年あけましておめでとうございます。みなさんの一年が「世界のテッペンにいる」くらいしあわせな年になりますように、と願いをこめて、新年一番にお届けするのは、70年代に活躍した兄妹デュオ、カーペンターズのヒット曲。私よりお若いみなさんでも、テレビCMやドラマ挿入歌などで耳にしたことがあると思います。歌詞は長く見えますが、語尾をはしょるくらいの気持ちで流れるように歌ってみましょう。コツは、単語をまじめにひとつずつ発音せず、次の音とつなげて「リンク」させること。軽快なリズムに歌詞がピタリとはまってとても気持ちよく歌えます。新年会のカラオケで披露してみてくださいネ。
